Course Summary

Tuesday Evening Portrait Club is a weekly untutored portrait drawing and painting session in Glasgow, hosted by Lewis MacKenzie and Jason Bentley.

Each session is built around a single sustained pose, giving you three uninterrupted hours to settle in, work at your own pace, and develop a considered portrait from life.

Work in whatever medium suits you — oils, charcoal, pastel, pencil, or watercolour. Stools and drawing boards are available, and a limited number of studio easels can be reserved when booking for an additional £2.50.

The emphasis is on relaxed, focused practice rather than formal teaching: a chance to spend proper time with the model, work without rushing, and enjoy the company of other artists doing the same.

This event is BYOB (£1 corkage) with tea and coffee available to buy.
