I don't think I win any awards for pointing out that 2025 is a year of deep change. Many of our lives are influenced by the global chaos and destruction that is playing out. I'd like to offer you a way of understanding the opportunities that come with chaos - and I'm not talking about stock wins!
Think of the last time you moved house. It's likely that when you moved the furniture you found all sorts of nastiness that you didn't know was lurking under and behind it. In the context of moving house, it's easy to see that task as an opportunity to first marvel at what you didn't notice and pay attention to - but nonetheless wasn't great that it was there stagnating - and second to clean up, consolidate, take stock and release what isn't needed. Each of us will be called to be in this change as the global upheavals unfold because it is remaking our own houses - the very foundations upon which we build our lives. We'll be seeing the yuck behind the beds of our own houses as well the muck in societies and systems. There is brutality that has been lingering, unseen and unsung in the ancestry of each of us that is aching to be released. The time is now that it's coming through and we as individuals can either work to release, work to stop it's release or disassociate from it all. But that won't stop it coming.
What I would love for us each to do, in the comfort of our own homes and balanced nervous systems, is to ask ourselves "what is truly possible?". Because when we move house, we get to reconsider how our lives play out. In the resetting of society, even though we can see some nasty stuff coming to the surface, what can it be when we clean it up and reimagine values, and priorities? These changes bring huge opportunities but only if we're capable of harnessing them and especially of staying energetically and emotionally balanced.
As 'the Human Differently Coach', I want individuals' voices and dreams to be heard and counted. I want our interactions between each other and the planet to be one of mutual respect and kindness. So my job often is to clean up the mess that hasn't been seen but is very much present. I have been leaning into this coming change since leaving my PhD in Developmental Biology (apt) over 20 years ago. I've been working individually with clients since then to clear away the nonsense that stopped them from being able to access their magic. I now work with groups and individuals and I want you to know that if you need a hand surfing the changes that are happening right now, I have the tools to keep you on your board. l mean, who wants to wipe out in the midst of this chaos? Not me!
However you help yourself 'human' differently, know that your voice and the gift that is within you is so needed. Thank you for your work to bring that through!
